Money

Donations to the Classical Music Festival series will be used to compensate the semi-professional and professional musicians who participate in music festivals and other public music events. Details on musician categories and compensation can be found here. All of the money goes to pay musicians, nothing goes in my pocket.

Donations be made directly to Cortland Music, although strictly speaking it is a sole proprietor business, not a 501(c) (3) non-profit, so donations would not qualify as a tax deduction. Make checks payable to Cortland Music.

Merchandise

Also, if you or your business would prefer to donate merchandise, the following items are used in publicizing events.

Printer Ink: HP #78 (color) and HP #45 (black)
8.5 x 11 Ivory 24# paper (for trifolds)
8.5 x 14 (legal size) 24# paper. Ivory if available (I've only seen white)
Blank 80minute CD-R's (for audio recordings of events, which may be used as fund raisers)
Jewel cases for the CD's
